If we have any concern about a product, a platform or a personal conduct, we will engage with a company in good faith to ask for change.  If need be, we will use our shareholder advocacy tools to help get the issue addressed. We view divestment as the absolute last resort. As of March 2025, TOV owns 496 of the top 500 companies. Our preference is always to “own and advocate.”

JLens maintains a Do Not Invest List, in which companies can be placed due to egregious acts, such as acquiescing to the BDS movement’s pressure to remove its products or shift its products out of Israel. While JLens prefers to “own and advocate,” the Do Not Invest List is a powerful tool to take a stance against the BDS movement. JLens full methodology is available in the fund prospectus.
